EOS R innovations combined with the APS-C format
The EOS R7 model is built on the basis of the APS-C format matrix, so its lenses provide 1.6 times more zoom compared to equivalent focal lengths on full-frame cameras. You will feel as if you are close to the subject of the shooting, and you will be able to fill your frames with expressive portraits of animals or dynamic events.

Stability even in motion
The camera’s IBIS system works in conjunction with the optical image stabilizer built into many of our RF lenses. Thanks to the lightning speed of data exchange and the large physical size of the RF mount, 5-axis stabilization provides an effective result of up to 7 stops with the RF-S 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens and up to 8 stops with other RF lenses. Even when working with lenses that do not have optical stabilization, the wide mount of the EOS R system allows the EOS R7’s IBIS module to provide highly effective stabilization.

Built for quick response
The DIGIC X processor ensures the speed and performance of the camera and practically eliminates the lag of the viewfinder, which provides exceptional shooting pleasure. For example, during continuous shooting, you can create up to 42 RAW files and 126 JPEG files at a speed of 30 frames per second.

Smooth movement, which is perfectly reflected in the video
Frame rates up to 60p are available when shooting 4K video, and up to 120p in Full HD. This camera captures moving subjects with incredible precision and creates super-smooth slow-motion effects in post-production.

Image quality that exceeds expectations
Photos are rich in detail and color and have a wide dynamic range even in low light thanks to a maximum sensitivity of ISO 32,000. Very high-quality 4K videos can be obtained by oversampling the output signal from the 7K matrix, and Canon Log 3 provides a wide dynamic range and rich editing possibilities after shooting.

The EOS R7 is built around an APS-C size sensor, so its lenses offer more zoom compared to equivalent focal lengths on full-frame cameras. The smaller sensor format also makes the EOS R7 model more portable, which is very convenient for trips to nature, shooting air shows or events at the auto track.
